Description
A total of 3 artefacts they are based on explorations with a broader perspective in mind. The data that I have collected is related to the Apple events, the performance of the products during these announcement, releases and their correlation to the AAPL stock performance. With a focus on Apple events, I did a little more research on the visuals that they used to market the events. These headers always prominently feature the Apple logo in various settings. So this page will showcase my take on exploring and creating an Apple event header through the different time periods of Apple for an Augmented Reality experience. Taking reference from different eras of Apple's branding, I created 3 different sketches of Apple event headers based on 3 different time periods.
I chose to use a 3D model Apple logo because the 2000s were an era of further technological adanvcement. The blue shading signifies the colour that Apple uses on its buttons and links. The red is to symbolise the colour Product Red of the iPhone that came out somewhere in 2006, a colour meant to represent solidarity with the company, Product Red, that is fighting for the end of HIV.
You can spin the Apple logo clicking on different areas of the canvas. Is there a familiar sound playing while you're interacting with the Apple logo?

These 2 sketches are essentially the same. The biggest difference is that one focuses on affecting the direction the Apple logo faces and the other is that it rotates the whole Apple logo cube. I think what would be really interesting applications of these would be in AR where the Apples would be that it’s static in space but the rotations of the said Apples would be dependent on the position of the camera.
For Artefact 3a, I think it would be more like a wall of apples and you’d be able to move the camera closer and further from the wall to zoom in and out.
As for the Artefact 3b, it would be interesting if the cube was static and the user would be able to walk around the box and the apples would rotate depending on the position of the camera but the box will not rotate with the camera.
Actual Apple Event Headers
These images below are of actual Apple Event Headers and I took reference from these to come up with my own headers. For most of them I chose not to just have one single Apple logo because I thought it would be more fun and dynamic if the user was able to interact with more through AR.
